Cue the Music!
August is prime festival season and we’ve surveyed the line ups from coast to coast, spanning all genres to bring you some of the most renown and up & coming fests around the country going down this month. And whether you’re jamming out on the West Coast, in the heart of the country or out East, gaan + co is your ultimate music festival buddy!
Music festival season is in full swing and August hosts countless of events around the country, drawing music fans of all ages together during the hottest month of the year. We’re talking tunes of every variety played in outdoor venues with minimal shade, maximum heat, and serious crowds, all looking forward to one thing: their favorite artists.
Didn’t make it to Chicago’s Lollapalooza? Not to worry. There are several other festivals across the country to check out. Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park brings together artists across every generation from the 9th through the 11th. Then there’s WE Fest in Minnesota uniting 80,000 rowdy Midwestern country fans in the tiny town of Detroit Lakes. Summer Meltdown 2019 outside of Seattle is a multi-day festival with four stages of music and onsite camping with river access and tubing to ensure concertgoers can cool off and jam out as they please! Arise Music Festival in Loveland, Colorado is an independent, family-run event which puts as much emphasis on the experience as they do on the seven stages of music on the 350-acre organic farm that hosts the fest.
Rockin the Rivers 2019 in beautiful Three Forks, Montana was voted one of the most scenic festival sites in the country, Bellwether in Waynesville, Ohio makes its 2nd appearance of Indie-Rock performances since the debut in 2018, and all things EDM are celebrated at Moonrise Festival just outside Baltimore at the nearly 150-year-old Pimlico Race Course. The Philadelphia Folk Festival, which started in 1962, is the largest and longest-running festival of its kind in the country, and we’ve got the Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn, which also tours to global sites like London, Paris, Atlanta, and South Africa. Last but certainly not least on our list is the infamous Burning Man Festival, known for an unpredictable mix of music, artistry, and creators of all kinds.
There’s something for everyone. Regardless of your fest of choice, make sure you’re prepared and make the most of it with all things gaan + co. You’re packing light so your arms and legs are free to dance all day and night, and we’re the perfect, pocket-sized companion.
Our body cleansing & personal use wipes are super versatile. Cool off and refresh after a DJ set mid-day or be happy you have us in your purse after using one of the charming portable bathrooms that’s already run out of toilet paper before 2p. If a summer storm comes through unexpectedly, our make-up remover and face cleansing wipes can save you from that “mascara running down your cheeks at the after-party” look that we all know and loathe.
Slide a variety of wipes into your pocket, fanny pack, backpack or purse, and all you’ll have to worry about is the lines for an adult beverage.
